Professor Andrey Fursov and Professor Elena Ponomareva Seminar "Russian Perspective & The Balkans, coloured revolutions"

The Canon Institute for Global Studies (CIGS) hosted a seminar on May 7, 2015 inviting Professor Andrey Fursov and Professor Elena Ponomareva. Professor Fursov explained the mechanism of the destruction of the Soviet system by the analysis of social nature of the Soviet society and its main structural contradictions. He also explained internal and external factors which had strong influence on the termination of the Soviet Union. Professor Ponomareva explained, from Russian perspective, “Coloured Revolutions” which happened in East Europe.
