Seminar's main points
Professor Cusumano specializes in strategy, product development, and entrepreneurship in the computer software industry, as well as automobiles and consumer electronics. He teaches courses at on the Software Business and Digital Platforms as well as Advanced Strategic Management.
His latest book titled Staying Power: Six Enduring Principles for Managing Strategy & Innovation in an Uncertain World was awarded as one of the 2011 Best Business Books by the strategy + business Magazine (Issue 65, Winter 2011), the thought leadership and management magazine published by Booz & Company. According to strategy + business, Professor Cusumano identifies "the big ideas that create staying power and superior performance," and those ideas are "the principles that should have enormous value for managers in all industries."
This time, Professor Cusumano addressed a CIGS audience over his principles to maintain superior business performance and discussed with participants in detail.
